103个感叹词的用法。
1. oh
(1) 101.Phoebe: Just, 'cause I don't want her to go through what I went through with Carl. Oh.
oh: used to express a feeling such as surprise, pain, annoyance, or happiness 啊,嗬,唉,呀(表示惊讶、痛苦、
恼怒或喜悦等)
(2) 101.Rachel: Ooh, I was kinda hoping that wouldn't be an issue.
oh: used when you are reacting to something that has been said, especially if you did not know it before (用于
引出答复或评论)噢,哦
(3) 101.Monica: Oh, wait, wait. Unless you happened to catch the Wee One's production of
Pinocchio, at the little theater in the park.
oh: used to attract someone's attention 用于吸引某人的注意
2. uh/um/er
(1) 101.Paul: [over the intercom] It's, uh, it's Paul.
uh [ʌ]: the way of writing the sound that people make when they are not sure about something (表示犹豫)呃,嗯
(2) 101.Paul: Well, ever-ev-ever since she left me, um, I haven't been able to, uh, perform [Monica
takes a sip of her drink.] …sexually.
um [ʌm]: the way of writing the sound that people make when they hesitate, or do not know what to say next

(3) 115.Ross: I, er, I really don't think so.
er [ə]: used in writing to represent the sound that people make when they hesitate, especially while they decide
what to say next 呃(表示说话时的犹豫、停顿、沉吟)
3. wow
101.Monica: You actually broke her watch? Wow! The worst thing I ever did was I-I shredded my old
boyfriend's favorite bath towel.
wow [waʊ]: used to express great surprise or admiration 哇(表示极大的惊奇或钦佩)
4. man
101.Joey: Great story. But I gotta go. I got a date with Andrea. Angela. Andrea. Oh, man. [looks at
Chandler for help]
man: used to express surprise, anger, etc. 啊,哎呀(表示惊讶、愤怒等)

ugh [ʌh]: the way of writing the sound that people make when they think that something is disgusting or
unpleasant 啊,呃(表示憎恶、嫌恶的感叹声)
7. yeah, right/yeah?/oh yeah
(1) 102.Monica: What you guys don't understand is, for us, kissing is as important as any part of it.
Joey: Yeah, right. You serious?
yeah, right: used to say that you do not believe what someone has just said, disagree with it, or are not
interested in it 是吗(讥讽性反语,用以暗示不相信、不同意或对前一说话人的话不感兴趣,尤用于想表达厌烦时)

yeah?: to suggest that you do not believe or agree with what the previous speaker has said, especially when

gee [dʒi]: a word that some people use to show that they are surprised, impressed or annoyed 哎呀(表示惊讶、

(1) 102.Chrissy on Three's Company: [holding a bra] Ha! Looks like she didn't leave in such a hurry
after all.
ha: used in writing to represent a noise that people make to show they are annoyed 哈(用于书面语中,表示生气)
(2) 103.Phoebe: Or, or, you know, um, 'I think we should see other people.' means 'Ha! Ha! I already am.'
ha: the word for the sound that people make when they laugh 哈哈(用于书面语中,表示笑声)
(3) 104.Ross: Ha! Ha! It's funny. My birthday was seven months ago.
Ha! Ha!: (ironic) used to show that you do not think that something is funny 表示嘲讽

10. please
(1) 102.Susan: Oh, please! What's wrong with Helen?
please: used when you are replying to somebody who has said something that you think is stupid 当某人说了些

(2) 113.Rachel: Just think, in a couple of years, we get to turn into them.
Monica: Oh, please!
please: You can say please to indicate that you want someone to stop doing something or stop speaking. You
would say this if, for example, what they are doing or saying makes you angry or upset. 求你了(请求别人停止
做某事或停止讲话)
11. doy/duh
(1) 102.Phoebe: Doy! Probably right before she lost it.
Chandler: You don't get a lot of 'doy' these days.

huh: people use 'Huh?' at the end of questions, suggestions, etc., especially when they want someone to agree

(2) 102.Barry: Yeah. It's fine. It's fine. Robbie's gonna be here for hours.
Robbie: Huh!
huh: people say 'Huh!' to show anger, surprise, disagreement, etc. or to show that they are not impressed

(3) 112.Ross: Wha-? Huh! How could you know? I don't even know.
Huh!: 表示惊异

yo: as a response when someone calls your name 哟(表示应答)
